If he’s going to do anything about bad voting machines, he doesn’t have much time. Here in New York State the Dems are getting ready for the election by refusing to pass a bill - VIVA NY - that would save our hand-marked paper ballots and prevent the use of voting machines that encode votes as unverifiable bar codes. There are three days left to the legislative session. I had thought it was due to the excessive influence of formerly powerful legislators hired as lobbyists for voting machine vendors on electeds and community leaders. But it also may be to enable electronic manipulation of election results.
