These are some great ideas. I hope this piece gets around to more people and FWIW I'll post it to my feeble Twitter following. The Kennedy group that I belonged to in Virginia seemed very comfortable with the Trump switch - but I am not - DJT's track record of dishonesty and broken promises is too long. Although at this point I'm not sure which of the two 'approved' candidates is the worse choice, Virginia is a blue state so I'll follow your example and vote RFK, even if I have to write him in.

Thank you Dag. I went to a Portland meeting this evening and there was much heated discussion about whether to vote for Trump or Kennedy and I spoke up suggesting it's normal to have such disagreements in the wake of disruptive changes like we've seen but that the community of people who've come together to support Bobby's vision is the most valuable result of the campaign, so it's good for us to support each other regardless of where we come down on questions like how exactly to vote in November when the important things are the values and visions we share instead of near-term strategic disagreements.

Agreed. At this point I just wan't him to be able to keep remain the public figure (as opposed to fringe figure) that he has become, and keep talking about his issues. He changed my mind about so much.

And maybe put himself in a position to run in 2028 with whatever party works for him. After Dick Cheney's endorsement of KH, I'm no longer a lifetime Democratic voter. Both parties won't be able to get away with not holding primaries in the next cycle, although we saw how primaries were corrupted to block Bernie, the last candidate I was excited about.
